• Easter Sunday – Join us for special Easter Sunday Services on April 8th. The Unity music team  and choir are busy preparing for a special service, and the young people of Unity are looking forward to  participating in the Easter Service.  are working on a special project for Easter Sunday.

• Children’s Easter Egg Hunt – Bring you children and grand-children on Easter for a fun filled Easter Egg Hunt following the second service.  This childhood favorite has become a Unity tradition!  Plan to stay and enjoy the excitement.

• Guest Speaker – Sunday April 15 – Dr. Dozier, president of Savannah State University

• Town Hall Meeting – Sunday, April 15th – Join us at noon immediately following the 11:00am Service for this special Unity Community meeting.

• Children’s Art Show – Children in our Nursery are busy “dressing” their self portraits, a project led by Judy Graham,  Jean Ann Young and Sallie Whitman.  On Sunday, April 22 the Nursery will host an Art Show of their work. Everyone is invited to attend the Show’s Reception for  refreshments after the 2nd service.

• Holistic Health Fair – Saturday, April 28th – 11:00am – 3:00pm – Learn how to improve and maximize your health and quality of life.  Unity will host its first Holistic Health Fair to provide information about local health providers and to introduce new products and services. The health fair will be free and open to the public. Organized by Honestly Well & Company in partnership with Unity, the Health Fair will be a great way to learn what’s available, talk with providers, and try new products! There will be Mini Massages, Healthy Tastings, Demonstrations, Health and Wellness Speakers, and much more! The Little Red Wagon Courier Service

Each Saturday morning at 10:00am we begin in Forsyth Park at the water fountain and travel through the squares bringing coffee, water and items of necessity and comfort to the homeless.   Our wagon is filled with soap, deodorant, batteries, Q-tips, razors for shaving, hand sanitizers, T-shirts, socks, underwear, gloves, hats and nutritious snacks.

A Month of Simple Abundance

March, the perfect time to spend some time on looking at the simple things in life that make life worth living.

• Soul Full Café – Sunday, March 25 -  5:30pm – 7:00pm  It’s all good!  Good music, good food, good friends, and good vibes!        Admission: $10.00, $5.00 Students. Kids are free.  Light and delicious finger foods, desserts, and beverages. Café style. Meet you all there!  Georgia Kyle will be our guest musician.

• New Spring arrivals in the Bookstore! Check out the beautiful (and budget priced) gift items and our full line of books from Unity authors and others.  Also have wonderful inspirational items for children.  The Bookstore is open – Thursdays 11:00am – 1:00pm AND  Sundays 10:00am – 1:00pm.

• Meditation Service – Thursdays at  12:00noon (30 mins) A quiet time in the middle of the week to reflect, refocus, and energize.  Join in Christ consciousness with  Silent Unity as we unify during this refreshing meditation.

• A New Class Series  — Prosperity Plus  — Tuesdays – Seven Weeks – March 27th – May 8th – with Rev. Arlene Meyer – 6:30pm – 8:30pm -  This course is being offered for the first time at Unity of Savannah.  Discover strategies for positive living “beyond the news” even in uncertain times. Discover ways to open yourself to a greater flow of good, how to generate thoughts and choices that lead to new results in life, and tools for living each day from a state of abundance and prosperity.  Materials cost is $40.00 and includes a workbook and audio CD. The class will feature video presentations by Mary Manin Morrisey, an international inspirational speaker and author. Starting from ground zero she put the Prosperity Principles to a test and harnessing the Universal power of these spiritual laws rebuilt her success and great work in the world.There is a sign up sheet in the sanctuary.  Or call the office to sign up.

• New Member’s Class — Sundays, February 12 & 19 and March 4 & 11  12noon – 1:00pm - Book available in the bookstore: “Unity: A Quest for Truth” by Eric Butterworth.

• Easter Lilies  Order your Easter lilies now using the handy form.  Lily plants, $10.50 each, with 3 to 5 blooms in addition to buds, will be delivered the week before Easter, April 8th. Contact the office or fill out a request form at the church.

Valentine’s Dance  Friday, February 10 – 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Put on your dancing shoes and bring the family for this fun Valentine’s Day celebration.  Cake walks, line dancing, dance contests for children and adults, dancing entertainment, music and delicious treats.  Admission:  Valentine Card for the Valentine’s Box exchange. Raffle surprises.  Everyone is invited!  Love offerings will be accepted.

YARD DAY  - Saturday, February 25th – 9:00am – 1:00pm
Help with a spring clean up!  Bring yard tools, gloves, rakes, and plenty of enthusiastic elbow grease to help prune, weed, and spread mulch and pine needles to beautify Unity’s grounds.  It will be a fun day working together!  Marshall Horton & Marty Fall are organizing this Yard Day, so join us for a fun Saturday and get some exercise too!  Coffee & donuts for everyone! Workshop with Edwene Gaines - “The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity!“  Sunday, February 26th at 12:30pm
As an ordained Unity Minister  committed to “power, passion, prosperity, and performance”, Edwene travels the year teaching and receiving honors such as the Torchbearer for New Thought Award, and Light of God Expressing Award.  A published author and Certified Firewalking Instructor,  Edwene shares with humor and joy the four spiritual principles of prosperity: Finding Your Divine Purpose, Forgiveness and Worthiness, Tithing and Giving, and Setting Clearcut Goals. SPIRIT Healing Music for Meditation session with “Georgia Kyle” Shiver will be Sunday, November 6th, from 5:30-7pm.

Circulation Day – Saturday, November 12 – Start cleaning out your closets, drawers, and garage for this much anticipated annual event.  Like new items may be brought to the church a few days before.   Volunteers are needed for set up on Friday, 5:00pm to 8:00pm, and Saturday, beginning at  6:00am.  Please sign up in the sanctuary.

Movie – Sunday, November 13 – 5:30pm -  Forks Over Knives – This acclaimed film featuring the value of plant based diets will be shown at Unity on November 13th at 5:30pm. to coincide with the publication of Rev. Arlene’s cookbook! — “7 Days To Becoming a Vegetarian” by Rev. Arlene Meyer.  Watch for this life changing, inspirational  and educational new cookbook  coming soon.  This special book is filled with delicious recipes, healthful advice, and culinary wisdom. A limited number of books are being printed.  So reserve your signed copy now!

Pet Blessing Service
Sunday, October 2
9:15am & 11:00am
Bring your beloved pets to church with you for this special service  or bring a photograph of your pet.  Pets should be on leash or in a crate/carrier.  Please bring only photos of your pets to the 9:15am Service.

Homecoming Sunday -  October 16
Join together with friends for this special Sunday!  Invite someone new or someone you haven’t seen in awhile.  Homecoming is a time to celebrate and be thankful for friendships.  “Old” members have been found and invited!  So you can expect to have fun renewing acquaintances, swapping stories and catching up on news.  The band and choir will perform at both services. Bring a dish to share after each service and stay for awhile for an old fashioned Sunday visit, a true homecoming!

Fall Sunday Services
9:15am Early Bird Service
This Fall try something new and come to the 9:15am Service!  You know what they say, early birds get the worm, but in this case early birds get a special morning service and get out in time to enjoy all the other Fall events and festivals in the area.  The coffee is always on, and we have an assortment of hot teas too.  Try the early service, we think you will like it!

Spirit Healing Music  – Meditation with “Georgia” Kyle Shiver
Sunday, October 23   5:30pm
Please wear comfortable clothes!  You may sit in a chair, or bring a pillow or Yoga mat, whatever is most comfortable for you.   Kyle will give a brief welcome and talk on meditation,  followed by  one hour of Spirit Healing Music Meditation.  No experience required, all are welcome!

New Member’s Class
There will be 4 classes in this series. October 23, 30, November 6 & 20.
If you are thinking about becoming a member, these classes are required.  Whether you wish to become a member or not, this class will help you learn more about the teachings of Unity.  Class will be held from 12:30 to 1:30pm. (Please bring a snack or lunch if you want.)  Childcare will be provided.  The book, The Simple Truth is available in the bookstore.

Halloween Celebration “Trunk or Treat”
Sunday, October 30
Come to church in a costume or wear a mask to celebrate Halloween!  Fill your car trunk with candy or other treats for  “Trunk or Treat” after the 11:00am service. Adults and children are all welcome to take part in this favorite Halloween Event.

Halloween “Meet & Treat” – Sunday, October 30 – 10:00am – 11:00am
Stay after the first service and come early for the 11:00am service to visit and treat yourself to Halloween cookies, muffins, & fruit.  Hot cider and coffee will be provided.  Please  bring cookies, muffins, fruit, or other finger goodies to share.
