Valentine’s Dance Friday, February 10 – 7:00pm – 9:00pm
Put on your dancing shoes and bring the family for this fun Valentine’s Day celebration. Cake walks, line dancing, dance contests for children and adults, dancing entertainment, music and delicious treats. Admission: Valentine Card for the Valentine’s Box exchange. Raffle surprises. Everyone is invited! Love offerings will be accepted.

YARD DAY - Saturday, February 25th – 9:00am – 1:00pm
Help with a spring clean up! Bring yard tools, gloves, rakes, and plenty of enthusiastic elbow grease to help prune, weed, and spread mulch and pine needles to beautify Unity’s grounds. It will be a fun day working together! Marshall Horton & Marty Fall are organizing this Yard Day, so join us for a fun Saturday and get some exercise too! Coffee & donuts for everyone! Workshop with Edwene Gaines - “The Four Spiritual Laws of Prosperity!“ Sunday, February 26th at 12:30pm
As an ordained Unity Minister committed to “power, passion, prosperity, and performance”, Edwene travels the year teaching and receiving honors such as the Torchbearer for New Thought Award, and Light of God Expressing Award. A published author and Certified Firewalking Instructor, Edwene shares with humor and joy the four spiritual principles of prosperity: Finding Your Divine Purpose, Forgiveness and Worthiness, Tithing and Giving, and Setting Clearcut Goals. This book is now available in the bookstore. Love offering!

Visioning our New Mission and Vision with Rev. Terrence Padgett – Fri., Jan. 13 6-9 and Sat., Jan. 14 10-4 – Join Rev. Padgett as he guides us in updating and crafting our Mission and Vision Statements to better represent our current spiritual community, and helps us discover and articulate our core values for future growth. “The purpose of his work is creating thriving, congruent, integral communities in which personal skills and spiritual insight can be used in every aspect of individual and congregational life.” PLEASE bring a bagged lunch on Saturday.

Special Events, Special Guests, Workshops, and Classes for: November
SPIRIT Healing Music for Meditation session with “Georgia Kyle” Shiver will be Sunday, November 6th, from 5:30-7pm.
Circulation Day – Saturday, November 12 – Start cleaning out your closets, drawers, and garage for this much anticipated annual event. Like new items may be brought to the church a few days before. Volunteers are needed for set up on Friday, 5:00pm to 8:00pm, and Saturday, beginning at 6:00am. Please sign up in the sanctuary.
Movie – Sunday, November 13 – 5:30pm - Forks Over Knives – This acclaimed film featuring the value of plant based diets will be shown at Unity on November 13th at 5:30pm. to coincide with the publication of Rev. Arlene’s cookbook! — “7 Days To Becoming a Vegetarian” by Rev. Arlene Meyer. Watch for this life changing, inspirational and educational new cookbook coming soon. This special book is filled with delicious recipes, healthful advice, and culinary wisdom. A limited number of books are being printed. So reserve your signed copy now!
Thanksgiving Dinner Thursday 24 3:00 to 5:00pm

Pet Blessing Service
Sunday, October 2
9:15am & 11:00am
Bring your beloved pets to church with you for this special service or bring a photograph of your pet. Pets should be on leash or in a crate/carrier. Please bring only photos of your pets to the 9:15am Service.
Homecoming Sunday - October 16
Join together with friends for this special Sunday! Invite someone new or someone you haven’t seen in awhile. Homecoming is a time to celebrate and be thankful for friendships. “Old” members have been found and invited! So you can expect to have fun renewing acquaintances, swapping stories and catching up on news. The band and choir will perform at both services. Bring a dish to share after each service and stay for awhile for an old fashioned Sunday visit, a true homecoming!
Fall Sunday Services
9:15am Early Bird Service
This Fall try something new and come to the 9:15am Service! You know what they say, early birds get the worm, but in this case early birds get a special morning service and get out in time to enjoy all the other Fall events and festivals in the area. The coffee is always on, and we have an assortment of hot teas too. Try the early service, we think you will like it!
Spirit Healing Music – Meditation with “Georgia” Kyle Shiver
Sunday, October 23 5:30pm
Please wear comfortable clothes! You may sit in a chair, or bring a pillow or Yoga mat, whatever is most comfortable for you. Kyle will give a brief welcome and talk on meditation, followed by one hour of Spirit Healing Music Meditation. No experience required, all are welcome!
New Member’s Class
There will be 4 classes in this series. October 23, 30, November 6 & 20.
If you are thinking about becoming a member, these classes are required. Whether you wish to become a member or not, this class will help you learn more about the teachings of Unity. Class will be held from 12:30 to 1:30pm. (Please bring a snack or lunch if you want.) Childcare will be provided. The book, The Simple Truth is available in the bookstore.
Halloween Celebration “Trunk or Treat”
Sunday, October 30
Come to church in a costume or wear a mask to celebrate Halloween! Fill your car trunk with candy or other treats for “Trunk or Treat” after the 11:00am service. Adults and children are all welcome to take part in this favorite Halloween Event.
Halloween “Meet & Treat” – Sunday, October 30 – 10:00am – 11:00am
Stay after the first service and come early for the 11:00am service to visit and treat yourself to Halloween cookies, muffins, & fruit. Hot cider and coffee will be provided. Please bring cookies, muffins, fruit, or other finger goodies to share.
