Sunday, May 13th – Rev. Pipe will speak at both services – and conduct a Prayer Service on Sunday evening 5:30pm – 7:00pm. A Love Offering will be taken.
COMING IN JUNE:
- Movie Night: We are showing “Finding Joe”, a movie about the work of Joseph Campbell, on Friday evening, June 22, from 7 to 9 pm.
- NEW CLASS: The Four Agreements- Tuesdays 6:30pm – 8:00pm – June 5 – June 2
- Summer Book Club - Reading is fun and relaxing! Join the Summer Book Club at Unity that meets once a month in June, July, and August. The first book is “Gift of the Red Bird: A Story of a Divine Encounter” by Paula D’Arcy. Judi Painter will lead the discussion. Kick off the summer with some good books! Dates TBA.
COMING IN JULY:
- Soul Full Café – Sunday, July 1st - 5:30pm The headliner is Lauren Lapointe (www.laurenl.com). Also featured: the spoken word of Henry Cherry, and songs from our own singer/guitarist Cleveland Beach. Tickets are $10, $5 for students, and kids 12 and under are free. Enjoy refreshing healthy snacks and beverages and an evening of casual, relaxed fun in a cafe setting. Tickets available in the office or from Dale Worley, or any Music Team member.
- NEW CLASS: The 5th Agreement – July 10 – July 31 – With Lydia Stone: 4 Tuesdays
- Kate Greene will lead the Summer Book Club discussion in July. July’s book is “The Holy Man” by Susan Trott. August’s book is yet to be selected. Dates TBA
OTHER NOTES:
- Holiday Bazaar Christmas may seem far away, but it’s not too early to plan for a Holiday Bazaar in November. There will be workshops held throughout the year to create items to sell at the bazaar. If you have a craft or artwork that you want to donate, or want to have a booth to sell your works, please let Sallie Whitman know. Sallie is organizing the event that will be open to the public to benefit Unity.
- A Bulletin Board by the Board in the Fellowship Hall. Church news, future plans, letters, financials, reports, and more.
- Artwork – We are fortunate to have many talented artists who lend their works of art to Unity’s Gallery! The artwork exhibited in the foyer, offices, and hallway is for sale by the artists. Informational labels are being prepared and will be posted soon. For now, please ask in the office if you are interested in the artist’s work and/or prices.
- Reserved Parking Spaces – Please honor the three newly designated Reserved Parking Spaces for handicap use. Thank you.
- Homeless Fund Donations – Remember the homeless and make a generous donation in the Donation Box in the sanctuary. The Little Red Wagon Courier Service distributes items of comfort and necessity every Saturday.

- Alcoholics Anonymous meeting – Thursdays - 7:00pm / Saturdays -7:00pm
- Over-eaters Anonymous meeting – Fridays – 6:30pm
- Chair Yoga – Sundays – between services – 10:15am-10:45am – in the side room of the Fellowship Hall. This variety of yoga taught by George Cox is ideal for people who are mobility impaired or otherwise not suited for Yoga on the mat. We meet between services.
- Debtors Anonymous meeting – Sundays - 5:00pm
Regular MONTHLY:
- Board Meeting – 3rd Wednesday of the month at 6:30pm – members may attend

- A Course in Miracles Discussion Group meets every second Tuesday of the month from noon until 12:55 in Fellowship Hall. Everyone is welcome regardless of knowledge or experience with ACIM. Call Marguerite 912-247-6484 for more information.
