During our Sunday Morning Celebration Service, Unity Savannah member Connie Becker will share her story of experience, strength and hope. Connie has over 10 years in recovery from opioid addiction. We appreciate Connie’s willingness to share and her dedication to helping others!
12:30PM – Catered Meal from the Meat’N Spot
Enjoy a free southern-style BBQ meal prepared especially for all those attending the afternoon presentation. Catering provided by the Meat’N Spot mobile caterers and served in our Fellowship Hall.
1:30PM – NARCAN Training
Free community training for opioid resuscitation using NARCAN. This is an educational training on the use of NARCAN to provide help from opioid overdose.

Empowering Faith Leaders Program
This event is presented in collaboration with the Clinton Foundation and the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities. Rev. Dale Worley is participating in the Clinton Foundation’s Empowering Faith Leaders program from February through September of 2022, and Recovery Sunday is a direct outcome of the training and education he receives from the program.
