Held annually in more than 600 communities nationwide, the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s is the world’s largest fundraiser for Alzheimer’s care, support and research.

8:00 AM : Registration and Promise Flower Garden

Each registered participant will receive a Promise Garden flower. Please choose the color that best represents your connection to the disease.

• Blue represents someone living with Alzheimer’s or another dementia
• Purple is for those who have lost a someone to the disease.
• Yellow represents someone who is currently supporting or caring for a person living with Alzheimer’s.
• Orange is for those who support the cause and the Association’s vision of a world without Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.

9:00 PM: Ceremonial Walk around Lake Mayer

The loop around Lake Mayer is an easy 1.7 mile walk that takes around 30 minutes to complete. You will walk with the group holding your flower. This is not a race!

Anyone who participates in the walk, donates to the cause, or even comes to cheer US on, is invited to a brunch and pool party after the walk!
