Children’s Church

From Myrtle Fillmore, Unity’s Co-Founder:  “Our mission is not to entertain the children, but to call them out. To be always entertained is to be dwarfed and dependent. To be ‘called out’ is to follow the harmonious law of the soul’s unfoldment.”

Children’s Church begins at 11:00am in the Fellowship Hall and continues in the sanctuary, near the end of the Sunday service, where all the children are joyously welcomed into our worship celebration, with song – to receive a blessing by the congregation and to join in the singing of the Peace Song. The Children’s Program is dynamic, spiritually based, and offers a wide variety of fun activities such as Bible lessons, Unity teachings, songs, crafts, games skits, family activities, community projects, and seasonal celebrations.

The Nursery offers supervised care with opportunity for interactive play and storytelling.

We ask that children arrive by 10:50am – allowing time to sign into their classroom and for you arrive in sanctuary for the 11:00am service. First time attendees will be asked to fill out a short form on behalf of their child.
